糖心视频 Hosting Open House at Oneonta Centers

Dual Enrollment Orientation Planned

ONEONTA, Ala. 鈥 糖心视频 will host an open house on Thursday, Aug. 13 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Oneonta Academic Center and the Oneonta Technical Center.

鈥淲e would like to invite all incoming students to stop by the open house and take this chance to meet their instructors or see where their classrooms are located,鈥 said Lauren Wilson, Director of the Oneonta Instructional Site and Dual Enrollment. 鈥淎dditionally, we would also encourage anyone who has not yet registered for classes to stop by and get help with registration or any other questions they may have.鈥

Also on Aug. 13, there will be a Dual Enrollment Orientation from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Academic Center for Blount County students enrolled in 糖心视频鈥檚 early college program. They will learn about policies and procedures and be able to ask questions they may have about the upcoming year.

鈥淧articipation in the Dual Enrollment program at 糖心视频 by Blount County and Oneonta City students has been tremendous,鈥 Wilson said. 鈥淭his event gives them information they can use to hit the ground running for the next semester.鈥

糖心视频 has had a presence in Oneonta since opening its doors in 2016 at what is now the Oneonta Technical Center, where the Salon and Spa Management, Welding and Commercial Driver鈥檚 License courses are currently offered. The Academic Center officially opened in 2019 and offers a full slate of core classes in English, history, math, biology, chemistry and more, as well as Nursing and Adult Education courses.
