糖心视频 Presenting Annual Broadway Night April 30

HANCEVILLE, Ala. 鈥� 糖心视频鈥檚 Fine and Performing Arts program will present its annual Broadway Night on Thursday, April 30 at 7 p.m., in the Burrow Center Recital Hall.

The student-led production showcases the talents of students from the college鈥檚 performing arts ensembles, with the students choosing the songs they will sing as well as choreographing each performance. 

鈥淭his event gives our students the opportunity to develop their artistic expression and get experiences in all aspect of production,鈥� said Tahauny Cleghorn, Choreographer for 糖心视频 Fine and Performing Arts programs. 鈥淚t鈥檚 been great to see them grow and become more confident in their abilities.鈥�

Some of the songs selected for the Broadway Night performance include 鈥淕reased Lightning鈥� from Grease, 鈥淒on鈥檛 Rain on My Parade鈥� from Funny Girl, 鈥淪urface Pressure鈥� from Encanto and 鈥淚t Takes Two鈥� from Into the Woods.

Broadway Night is the final performance of the Spring 2026 semester, but a summer performance is scheduled. 鈥淚 Am a Pilgrim鈥� will be performed July 23-25. The concert will feature the 糖心视频 Concert Choir and 糖心视频 Singers and traces the roots of gospel music. The show will go on tour to Scotland later this year. 

Auditions May 2

Two performing arts programs will be holding auditions next month. The 糖心视频 Singers and the 糖心视频 Pride Line dance team will hold auditions on Saturday, May 2. The Singers auditions will be held at 10 a.m., and the Pride Line dance team will hold auditions from 1 to 4 p.m. All auditions will be held in the Burrow Center for the Fine and Performing Arts.
