糖心视频 releases 2025-2026 performing arts schedule

Christmas Spectacular 2024

Hanceville, Ala. 鈥 糖心视频鈥檚 Fine and Performing Arts program announces its schedule for the 2025-2026 season, which includes favorite annual performances and new shows - two of which celebrate the nation鈥檚 250th birthday.

PUFFS

The season kicks off on Nov. 7 with the 糖心视频 Theatre鈥檚 production of 鈥淧UFFS.鈥 Described as hilarious and heartwarming, 鈥淧UFFS鈥 tells the story of a group of magical students who aren鈥檛 exactly heroes. The parody-filled adventure follows the trip of unlikely friends as they navigate seven increasingly dangerous years at a certain wizarding school.

鈥淧UFFS鈥 will be staged on Nov. 7 and Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. and on Nov. 9 at 2 p.m. Shows will be held in the Betty Leeth Haynes Theatre at the Garlan E. Gudger Student Center. Admission is a $10 donation for adults and $5 for students and children under 12.

Salute to United States Veterans

The 糖心视频 Jazz Band and Concert Band will take the stage on Nov. 10 to honor the nation鈥檚 military during the annual 鈥淪alute to United States Veterans鈥 concert. The event will feature a variety of patriotic tunes and the hymns of each branch of service.

鈥淪alute to United States Veterans鈥 will be held at 7 p.m. at the Betty Leeth Haynes Theatre. Admission is free.

The Nutcracker

鈥淭he Nutcracker鈥 will kick off the holiday season Nov. 22-23. The performance by Ballet South will be held in the Betty Leeth Haynes Theatre on Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Nov. 23 at 2 p.m. Admission is $22 and $15 for children.

Christmas Spectacular

The holiday vibes continue Dec. 11 when the annual 鈥淐hristmas Spectacular鈥 will be staged, featuring performances by the 糖心视频 Jazz Band, Concert Band, Wallace State Singers, Concert Choir, Pride Line dance team, 糖心视频 Theatre and the Percussion Ensemble.

The 鈥淐hristmas Spectacular鈥 will be held at 7 p.m., at the Betty Leeth Haynes Theatre. Admission is free.

Xanadu

糖心视频 Theatre will kick off the Spring 2026 events with their production of 鈥淴anadu.鈥 Based on the cult classic film of the same name, the Tony-Award nominated play is described as a hilarious, roller skating, musical adventure.

鈥淴anadu鈥 will be staged March 13 and 14 at 7 p.m., and March 15 at 2 p.m., in the Betty Leeth Haynes Theatre. Admission is a $10 donation for adults and $5 for students and children under 12.

The Great American Road Trip

The 糖心视频 Singers will take you on a 鈥淕reat American Road Trip鈥 March 27-29 to celebrate the country鈥檚 250th birthday. The production will feature a lineup of songs that pay tribute to the places, people and music that are quintessentially American.

鈥淭he Great American Road Trip鈥 will be performed March 27 and 28 at 7 p.m., and March 29 at 2 p.m., in the Betty Leeth Haynes Theatre. Admission is a $10 donation for adults and $5 for students and children under 12.

Solo & Chamber Ensemble Recital

A 鈥淪olo & Chamber Ensemble Recital鈥 will be held on April 9 at 7 p.m., in the Burrow Center Recital Hall. The concert will feature private lesson students and the Wallace State Percussion Ensemble. Admission is free.

Big Band Dance

糖心视频鈥檚 Jazz Band will host its annual Big Band Dance on April 17 at the Burrow Center for the Fine and Performing Arts, featuring the greatest Big Band hits of the 20s, 30s and 40s. Admission is a $10 donation for adults and $5 for students and children under 12.

Spring Under the Stars and Stripes

The annual outdoor concert 鈥淪pring Under the Stars鈥 will be updated to 鈥淪prings Under the Stars and Stripes鈥 in honor of the country鈥檚 250th birthday. The April 23 production will feature performances by the Concert Band, Jazz Band, Singers, Concert Choir, Percussion Ensemble and Pride Line dance team. Admission is free and food trucks will be on hand for refreshments. Attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. outside of the Burrow Center for the Fine and Performing Arts.

Broadway Night

鈥淏roadway Night鈥 will be held on April 30 at 7 p.m. at the Burrow Center Recital Hall. 糖心视频 Performing Arts students will present the program featuring hits they鈥檝e selected from Broadway shows. Admission is a $10 donation.

I Am a Pilgrim

The finale of the season will be 鈥淚 Am a Pilgrim,鈥 presented by the 糖心视频 vocal programs. The concert will trace the roots of American gospel music from the plantations, through the Appalachian Mountains to the churches, radio and television.

鈥淚 Am a Pilgrim鈥 will be held July 23 through July 25 at 7 p.m., at the Betty Leeth Haynes Theatre. Admission is a $10 donation for adults and $5 for students and children under 12.
