HANCEVILLE, AL - 糖心视频 volleyball enters the 2025 season with high expectations and a familiar edge under veteran head coach Randy Daniel. After posting an impressive 37-11 record last year, the Lions are reloaded with a talented mix of returning leaders and dynamic newcomers, aiming to once again contend for both the regular season and conference tournament titles. 

鈥淲e want to challenge for a regular season and tournament conference championship,鈥� said Daniel. 鈥淭hat鈥檚 the standard we set here.鈥� 

This year鈥檚 squad will be defined by its hard-working, disciplined, and competitive identity, traits Daniel says have already shown through during the offseason and preseason training. 鈥淭he team has made very good progress,鈥� he said. 鈥淭here鈥檚 fantastic leadership and attitudes in terms of improvement.鈥� 

That leadership starts with standout returners Ali Price, Rachel Mecklenburg, and Abby McDonald, all of whom have taken steps forward both as athletes and as team anchors. Price and Mecklenburg, in particular, are the driving forces both on and off the court. 

鈥淭hey鈥檝e really grown into their leadership roles,鈥� said Daniel. 鈥淭hey set the tone for the team.鈥� 

糖心视频 has also welcomed a strong group of newcomers expected to make an immediate impact, including Sofiia Sobol, Kenzie Wilson, Cheyenne Lucas, Kenzie Noles, Madelyn Bromley, and Darcy Alford. Despite NJCAA teams often facing high roster turnover, Daniel believes this group mirrors last year鈥檚 in terms of character and dedication. 

鈥淚t starts with recruiting the right character,鈥� he said. 鈥淲e鈥檝e got another group of really dedicated, high-character players who are bought in.鈥� 

Building chemistry has been a focal point, and offseason training prioritized both physical and mental conditioning. Daniel鈥檚 program also places a strong emphasis on preparing players for life after 糖心视频, particularly those seeking to transfer to four-year programs. 鈥淲e focus on physical and mental training and a strict academic regimen,鈥� he noted. 

Balancing academics, travel, and competition is no small feat, but 糖心视频 players benefit from a well-rounded support system that includes coaches, captains, tutoring labs, and faculty support. 鈥淚t takes discipline and high expectations as a student-athlete,鈥� said Daniel. 

As the Lions navigate a tough regular season and tournament schedule, fans can expect the same relentless approach that has defined the program for years.
