糖心视频 Tennis Teams Serve Up Stellar Season

Men's and Women's Tennis

Hanceville, Ala. 鈥 The 糖心视频 tennis programs had one of their best seasons in recent years, with the men completing a 22-4 run, another undefeated conference season, and finishing in 8th place nationally. The women finished the season 17-6, another undefeated conference season, with a 10th place finish nationally.

糖心视频鈥檚 tennis teams are led by Coach Tim Garner, who was named the Men鈥檚 Tennis Coach of the Year by the Alabama Community College System and the National Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) D1 Junior College Men鈥檚 Coach of the Year.

Men鈥檚 Tennis

Leading the Men鈥檚 Tennis team for the 2024-2025 season were brothers James Edley and Alex Edley, Angel Gautier, Axel Le Ho, Zac Riley, Jean Badenhorst, Jace Moody, and Ferran Bonastre.

James Edley was named the ACCC Player of the Year and an All-American by the ITA for NJCAA Men鈥檚 Singles. He finished the season 16-6 in singles play and 18-6 in doubles play, partnered with Jace Moody and Gautier.

Alex Edley finished the season 22-6 in singles play and 24-5 in doubles, partnered with Riley and Moody.

Angel Gautier went 15-5 in singles play and 16-5 in doubles play partnered with James Edley.

Axel Le Ho finished the season 10-3 in singles play and 4-4 in doubles play.

Zac Riley shined in doubles play, with an overall record of 20-4, partnered with Alex Edley and Jean Badenhorst.

Ferran Bonastre completed the season with a 19-5 singles record and 15-4 in doubles.

 

Women鈥檚 Tennis

Leading the Women鈥檚 Tennis team for 2024-2025 season were Noelle D鈥橝ngellilo, Sophia Baillos, Jaedyn Martin and Indiria Wilson.

Noelle D'Angelillo, was named the ACCC Player of the Year and ended the season a 19-9 record in singles competition and 21-8 in doubles, partnering with Sophia Baillos and Jaedyn Martin.

Sophia Baillos ended the season with a 15+4 record in singles and 17-4 in doubles, partnering with D鈥橝ngelillo.

Jaedyn Martin went 20-4 in singles competition for the year and 22-5 in doubles, partnering with D鈥橝ngelillo and Indira Wilson.

Indira Wilson鈥檚 record in singles was 17-4 and 19-3 in doubles, partnering with Martin and Chloe Baines.
