ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ Roars Past Enterprise State
ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ’s men’s basketball team showcased their dominance
in a commanding 102-73 victory over Enterprise State Community College at the Traditions
Bank Arena in the Tom Drake Coliseum. With this win, ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ advances to an
impressive 11-2 record for the season.
The Lions’ balanced attack was led by sophomore guard Kami Young, who scored a game-high
24 points, including four three-pointers and a perfect 8-for-8 performance at the
free-throw line. Freshman forward Christian Thompson recorded a double-double with
14 points and 12 rebounds, controlling the paint on both ends of the court. Sophomore
guard Josh Paige contributed 18 points and eight rebounds, playing a pivotal role
in ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ’s second-half surge.
ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ’s depth and teamwork were on full display, with five players scoring
in double figures. The Lions also dominated the boards, out-rebounding Enterprise
State 53-35, including 19 offensive rebounds that fueled their high-scoring performance.
Enterprise State’s Nykeem Gainer led his team with 16 points and five rebounds, but
the Boll Weevils struggled to keep pace with ÌÇÐÄÊÓƵ’s relentless attack, particularly
in the second half when the Lions outscored them 60-37.
