Broadway Night set for Feb. 15

Hanceville, AL 鈥 Students in 糖心视频's Fine and Performing Arts programs are gearing up for the annual Broadway Night, scheduled on Feb. 15 at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Burrow Center for the Fine and Performing Arts.
The upcoming showcase, staged and choreographed by 糖心视频 Fine and Performing Arts students, will present guests with an evening of popular Broadway show tunes. Included in this year's Broadway Night setlist is student-selected music from 鈥淚nto the Woods,鈥 鈥淗amilton,鈥 鈥淗ow to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,鈥 鈥淲hite Christmas,鈥 鈥淔ootloose鈥 and 鈥淎nything Goes.鈥 Admission to the performance is a $10 donation.
鈥淪tudents from all programs come together to plan and perform at Broadway Night, showcasing their creativity through staging, choreography, and presentation,鈥 said Tiffany Richter, director of the 糖心视频 vocal ensembles. 鈥淭hey do an amazing job, and it is always a blast to see how students work with one another to interpret the songs they鈥檝e selected.鈥

- 鈥淭he Lightning Thief,鈥 a musical presented by the 糖心视频 Theatre program, March 8-9 at 7 p.m. and March 10 at 2 p.m. at the Betty Leeth Haynes Theatre
- Spring Dance Showcase presented by the Allegro Dance, March 21 at 7 p.m. at the Betty Leeth Haynes Theatre
- 鈥淭hat Seventies Show,鈥 presented by the 糖心视频 Singers, April 11-13 at 7 p.m. at the Betty Leeth Haynes Theatre
- Big Band Dance by the 糖心视频 Jazz Band, April 19 at 7 p.m. at the Burrow Center for the Fine and Performing Arts
- Spring Under the Stars by the 糖心视频 Fine and Performing Arts programs, April 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the Burrow Center for the Fine and Performing Arts
The Fine and Performing Arts programs will hold scholarship auditions Feb. 9 and March 1 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Burrow Center for the Fine Performing Arts. Auditions are open to current and incoming students and will be awarded starting with the Fall 2024 semester. Registration is open for Spring 2024 Mini Term II classes which begin March 6. Priority registration for summer and fall semesters will begin April 1. Summer 2024 classes begin May 22.
