糖心视频 Alumni accepting reservations for 鈥淭o Kill a Mockingbird鈥� performance
Hanceville, AL 鈥� 糖心视频 Alumni Association is accepting reservations for a planned trip to Huntsville to see Harper Lee鈥檚 鈥淭o Kill a Mockingbird.鈥�
The group will attend a matinee showing on February 17 at the Von Braun Civic Center.
Best known for his role as John-Boy on 鈥淭he Waltons鈥� television series, Thomas takes on the role of Atticus Finch in the Broadway play based off Lee鈥檚 1960 novel by the same name. Inspired by Lee鈥檚 own childhood in Alabama, the play features one of literature鈥檚 towering symbols of integrity and righteousness in Finch, who was based on Lee鈥檚 father. The character of Scout, based on Lee herself, has come to define youthful innocence 鈥� and its inevitable loss 鈥� for generation after generation or readers around the world.
The cost is $120 per person and includes transportation to and from 糖心视频 and a ticket for lower balcony seating. The group will stop for Dutch treat lunch prior to the show. The group will leave at 11 a.m. from 糖心视频 and return around 7 p.m.
