糖心视频 hosting 鈥淐hristmas Spectacular鈥� on December 8

Hanceville, AL 鈥� The 糖心视频 Fine and Performing Arts program will present its annual Christmas Spectacular on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 7 p.m., in the Betty Leeth Haynes Theatre inside the Gudger Student Center.

The production will feature performances from the 糖心视频 Jazz Band, Concert Band, Singers, Concert Choir and Allegro Dance Theatre.

鈥淥ur students have been preparing for weeks for the Christmas Spectacular,鈥� said Tiffany Richter, director of the 糖心视频 Singers and Choir. 鈥淵ou can look forward to lots of merriment, comedy, good music and your favorite vintage Christmas carols.鈥�

The Allegro Dance Theatre will dance to 鈥淭he Volga Vouty,鈥� with the 糖心视频 Jazz Band providing the music.

The Concert Choir will perform by candlelight to 鈥淪ing We Now of Christmas鈥� as well as versions of 鈥淥 Radiant Dawn鈥� and 鈥淪ilent Night.鈥�

Performances by the 糖心视频 Singers include renditions of 鈥淭here鈥檚 No Place Like Home for the Holidays,鈥� 鈥淲hite Christmas,鈥� 鈥淥nce Upon a Winter Time鈥� and more, all backed by the 糖心视频 Jazz Band or the Jazz Band and Concert Band combined.

Admission to the Christmas Spectacular is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

• Big Band Dance, April 21 at 7 p.m., at the Burrow Center for the Fine and Performing Arts, by the 糖心视频 Jazz Band
• Spring Under the Stars, April 27 at 6:30 p.m., at the Burrow Center for the Fine and Performing Arts, by the 糖心视频 Fine and Performing Arts program

糖心视频鈥檚 Fine and Performing Arts programs will hold scholarship auditions in February and March for students planning to attend 糖心视频 in the Fall of 2023.

Registration for the Spring 2023 semester is currently underway, with classes beginning Jan. 9 for regular and Mini Term I. Mini Term II classes will begin March 8. Online Flex Start courses will begin Jan. 16 for Flex Start I, with registration from Jan. 14-Jan. 20, and on Jan. 23 for Flex Start II, with registration from Jan. 21-27.
