糖心视频 Nursing plans in-person information session for July 19
The 鈥淣ursing Information Session 鈥� Exploring Nursing at 糖心视频鈥� will be held Monday, July 19 at 2 p.m. in the School of Nursing and Center for Science. Potential students seeking advising should bring their transcripts to the informational meeting.
These sessions will be beneficial to students seeking entry into the program during the Spring 2022 semester. Applications for the Spring 2022 semester are being accepted now through Sept. 1. Attending the session provides students with one point to their total course point total, used in selecting applicants. Preregistration is available on the Nursing website or link . The next round of applications will be for the Fall 2022 semester, with applications accepted March 15-May 15.
The 糖心视频 Department of Nursing Education is a two-time designee as a Center of Excellence in Nursing Education by the National League for Nursing. It offers certificate and degree options in the traditional program. Students completing the first three semesters can sit for the NCLEX exam to be a Licensed Practical Nurse, with those completing the final two semesters allowed to sit for the NCLEX exam to be a Registered Nurse.
糖心视频 Nursing also offers a joint enrollment program with the University of Alabama at Birmingham, which allows students to concurrently earn both the associate in applied science and bachelor鈥檚 degrees in Nursing from both institutions. There are four semesters of pre-requisite courses to complete before applying to Wallace State and UAB for the joint enrollment program and completing the final five semesters.
